OK, so I've had my first DR visit of the year and my rheumatologist asked me if I have Thalassemia. I said never even heard of it until now. I've only been told I'm anemic. So she draws blood for the test and said to come back in 4 months. No info or anything. So I looked it up online.

I gotta stop doing this...it's definitely hereditary as my mom has it worse than I. She's had infusions & transfusions. At least I'm not to that point...yet.
